Work in Progress as I get my thoughts for Jaeger in order.
Abilities
Equipment
- Jaeger doesn't have a huge sweet tooth, but he does like ginger snaps and strawberry ice cream. He's a light social drinker but almost never gets drunk.
- He's been married once. It didn't work out. His wife's name was Lindsay and they had a young daughter. He left because it was safer for them.
- Jaeger is badly, badly scarred from waist to chest, including both his arms all the way to his wrists. The scars, however, look like ritual scarification in a very delicate, elegant pattern. They are actually torture scars. He has also survived having his throat nearly cut with a wire noose, which has permanently ruined his voice and left a scar across his neck that he covers with high-collared shirts.
- Always carries a hardwood cane. Typically dresses in very casual, basic clothes- jeans or slacks and turtlenecks or button-down shirts, long coat, presentable and neat without being sloppy or overly uptight. It also helps to offset the fact that he's a big man, 6'4" and a very healthy, well-maintained 260lbs- scholarly looking or not, he does not look like a convenient mugging victim.
- His hair looks silver-black, but is actually metallic, a side-effect of dealing with too much of the Other Side. Almost always has five o'clock shadow by 4 o'clock.
Abilities
- Healing wounds.
- Psychomancy (reading auras and, with effort, objects.)
- Infliction of wounds from a distance (this usually takes the form of phantom metal blades, unless he goes straight for crushing your heart in your chest.)
- Ritual curses and sorcery.
- Speaking with and binding the souls of the dead.
- Astral projection
- Some mental manipulations, including sleep and compulsion
- All Jaeger's magical abilities put a strain on him. The more powerful the working, the more damage it does to his physical body, from mild headaches and fatigue to major internal hemorrhaging. It is very possible for him to die from using too much magic. He already has once.
Equipment
- Automatic pistol
- Sword cane
- Ritual knife, small
- Tins of salt, small vials of various arcane ingredients (oils, herbs, etc)
